The Delft University of Technology has a very large website with more than 50.000 pages. To search a specific page, they use Google to perform the search queries. With a Google Custom Search Engine they are able to find all their pages in milliseconds and tune the findings across multiple domains.

Soflomo has investigated in the capabilities of Google's Custom Search Engine. A small application was developed to perform queries easily and fetch the results from Google.
The university just had an update for their website style and we adopted the guidelines to develop an interface for the search application.

Nowadays Delft University of Technology has bought a Google Search Appliance so the application is not in use anymore. Our style is adjusted to the new server and is still being used. To visit the search page, go to search.tudelft.nl.
